The OWMA held its annual, Wild Game Legislative Reception
on Monday, March 30th. The reception was an opportunity for OWMA members to voice their appreciation to the Oklahoma
Legislators and acknowledge their contributions in molding this year's wildlife related legislation.
Awards were
presented to four Legislators who the OWMA feel have been exceedingly supportive of legislation favorable to wildlife, wildlife
management and private property rights. These four Legislators were named the OWMA Wildlife Advocates of the Year:

were presented to the following Legislators for their dedication to uphold wildlife- favorable legislation: Senator
Todd Lamb, Senator Ron Justice, Representative Mike Sanders and Representative Ken Miller.

Wildlife Activist of the Year award was presented to Karel Brewster for her dedication and commitment to the OWMA.
A
President Appreciation award was presented to Scott Chapman in appreciation of his outstanding support and leadership of the
OWMA.
